The challenge is as such: create an app as simple as possible. One function, no more no less. Think Shazam.
The problem I chose to face...well, let me take you there. It's been a long day. You're one source of excitement on a dreary, exhausting day: the cookies you're about to bake. You rip open that yellow package, place the little cubes on the tray, throw away the wrapper, put them in the oven, and go to set the timer. The timer. Right. How long? 8 minutes? 12? You glance at the trash. It's time to begin the demeaning wade through yesterdays dinner to find out just how long your cookies need to bake.
My solution: Smart Cookie, and app that tells you the temperature and bake time of the most popular cookie doughs on the market. No more, no less. Save yourself the headache (and scent of digging through the trash), click your brand of choice, and set that timer with confidence.
