about me

my undeniable identities: art and sport

I chose engineering in an attempt to continue building things with my hands, accepting the sacrificing of my passions, art and sport, as a necessary evil. initially, I did not see how beneficial this mix of skills and interests could be.

in coming to Northwestern, I have found the the intersection of my many facets through manufacturing and design engineering. my art provides me the creativity to apply in the technicality of  prototyping; my athletic background provides the physiological understanding and identification of problems relating to  athletes.

now, I can focus on how such engineering design manifests in products for adaptive athletes: products that are just aesthetically pleasing as they are functional. these individuals have stories; why not let their limbs and equipment work as a 3d tattoos to tell those tales?
